I've been on Weight Watchers since January last year and have so far lost 47½lbs, but I must admit that I could still happily fall back into my bad habits and eating when I really only need a hug.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7153352.post-84711810574827756802011-06-09T15:00:17.257-05:002011-06-09T15:00:17.257-05:00I ordered this book earlier this week after hearin...I ordered this book earlier this week after hearing so many great things about it and am even more excited to read it after reading your review. :-)Susanhttp://susanmanes.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7153352.post-24041237079893229712011-06-09T10:01:44.271-05:002011-06-09T10:01:44.271-05:00I'm glad you "went first" in talking...I'm glad you "went first" in talking about this book (since we read it at the same time!) Now I'll go back into my draft review and rethink it and link you up so that the discussion can be continued! ;)

Like you, I was blessed by this book. I'm actually reading through it again because I want it to really sink in. I have the same thoughts about snacks calming me down and chocolate coming to the rescue. And I didn't realize just how many times I have these thoughts (and boy are they strong and compelling!) until I read this book. She gently points out the sinful thoughts and problem areas and encourages (and convinces you!) that victory is possible.

Anyway. Loved this book and think it's a very worthy, convicting and encouraging read.Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08772667430500306088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7153352.post-57484506733012909632011-06-09T08:30:20.878-05:002011-06-09T08:30:20.878-05:00You did a great job summing up this book!
