December 1

How appropriate - that this, our first frost of the year, is also December 1 and the first entry of this year's December journal. A frost slows things down ... things become more still under a blanket of crisp white frost. That's how I choose to look at December this year - yes, there will be events and parties and things to do - but in spite of and in the midst of all of it, I choose to pause and wait this Advent season and make sure what is really important stays in focus.
