Week in the Life ::: Tuesday
Reading in 1 Kings right now ... currently, it's working for me to do my reading via this Bible software prograom on my computer so this is where I sit in the morning, with coffee, of course.
She loves these little trucks ... goes for them first thing most mornings.
Everyday ... Travis' lunch.
Morning crafting. She found something in her Highlights High Five magazine and went to town with it.
Current drink: decaf iced tea and lots of it.
Starting school - reading our Bible story.
And now the crafting is done. (Those are napkin rings.) : )
B's breakfast ... she found a bag of baby spoons in a drawer and thought if one was good then more is obviously better!
Resting after a tumble down the stairs outside. : (
More school: studying gardens this week. Here she is working on some lapbook parts to go along with Growing Vegetable Soup.
Reading a little about Monet and his love of painting gardens.
More laundry. Today it's the girls' clothes.
Rest time.
More reading aloud ... thanks to a tip from Elizabeth, we are reading Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl.
Clean-up time before baths. Princess and My Little Pony parts e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e.
Definitely didn't take as many pictures today as on Monday. It was hard to stop and grab the camera while we were doing school. Hopefully I'll get a little better at is as the week goes on. : )

Welcome and happy Monday! If you are new to my blog (here via the Bloggy Giveaway hosted by Shannon at Rocks in My Dryer ), welcome. : ) I...
What Bible software are you using? Loved your day!! Looks a lot like mine, only with boys instead. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou make me want iced tea. I really love the concept of these posts. I think I may have to try it for us at some point!
ReplyDeleteIn the meantime, thanks for the note you left on my site today. I have wondered what today would feel like and it's harder than I thought it would be. So thanks!
My favorite picture is Rest Time!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like the best nap EVER...on top of made bed, under the blanket, fluffy pillow, comfy lack of clothing, but a cool drink nearby, in case one gets thirsty.
The only thing that I would add to my picture, if I was to have such a wonderful nap (and then post it to the blog!) , is a book. If that was me in the pic, I would have a book that's left open by my side!
This is so fun. I may have to try it.
ReplyDeleteWithout sounding weird, you could post pregnant belly shots every day and I'd be happy.
ReplyDeleteI love that my friends are still having babies.
We love our High Five magazines.
ReplyDeleteHave you downloaded the audio editions of each issue? Great resource.

@abbiegrace: I think I saw on our recent issue that you could download the audio version, but I haven't tried that yet. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDelete@Photographing Mom: The software is Logos Bible software. My husband uses it and I got it on my computer by default. It has WAY more to it than I use, but it's worked really well for me in the morning.
ReplyDeleteLove the "I made this" sign! Thanks for sharing your day with us!

ReplyDeleteI followed a link to a link to Ali then you in the comments...heh-heh...supposed to be doing laundry right now...glad I found you though!

Pink Paper Peppermints
@Melissa: Thanks for stopping by. : ) The afghan is one that my Mom made for me when I went to college a LONG time ago ... still use it almost daily!
ReplyDeleteI smiled at the picture of the crafts. Not because of the focused objects but what's in the background - a US map and timeline. Exactly what every "good" home school family has on their walls. :) And the sweet tea? Totally craving it now.
