This year, I'm trying to fit in some more crafty moments with the girls, especially for Noelle. The girl LOVES anything that has to do with art. This morning I took a deep breath and brought out *gasp* glitter glue and we spent time making simple snowflake ornaments. (Simple as in a kit from Walmart). In my book, that was $5 and an hour and a half that was well spent with my oldest girl. And the glitter ... well, it wasn't so bad after all.

The journaling is on a card that will be behind the page.

  1. Great idea! I've been trying to think of simple (as in won't-make-me-crazy) activities I can do with my kids. MAYBE I'll think about getting some glitter pens. :)

  3. meem has tons of ornament ideas ... she used to have the grandkids over every december and we'd make something for her "grandkid tree!" ask her if you get stumped!

  4. You inspire me, too, Stephanie. I've TRIED the photo-a-day thing (Project 365--remember that?), but I gave up. I MIGHT be able to do a month, but I'm not sure December would be it.
