- it makes me happy that one of the junior high boys from church called me last night to ask if he could borrow my copy of Sound of Music for a school project.
- that our bunny will come to me when I call her

- good young adult books and hitting the jackpot on cool kid books at the library yesterday
- Christmas cards - sending and receiving
- Sharpie pens
- reading our Advent verses every morning as we start school and listening to the girls tell me the story
