Friday: More reading and lots of underlining in One Thousand Gifts
Updating my phone.
Making grits for N2 again this morning.
Much grocery shopping today.
Spotting the boy as he climbs the stairs.
N2.
Friday family pizza and movie night. Lion King - B's first viewing. : )
Prepping the coffee maker for in the morning.
Before bed reading. (To counteract the thinkerlyness of One Thousand Gifts, I'm reading Rainbow Valley by L.M. Montgomery on my Kindle).
Saturday:
The girls have been invited to an American Girl birthday party later this day so B is prepping Fancy Nancy to go with her.
Strawberries.
A view from our backdoor. It was beautiful (and a little cloudy) on Saturday.
Some work in the schoolroom as we prep for school on Monday.
Our anniversary gift to ourselves this year is a much needed new bed. I've told T that he is the sale whisperer because he got this bedframe at a ridiculous price. Now it's up and ready for mattresses to be delivered.
Fruit.
Silly boy who figured out how to climb in the bookshelf.
Getting our hair ready for the party. Vintage hot rollers there - I've had those since college at least!
Little girls heading out the door. (The party was at the neighbors so we walked over).
When little girls are away, parents will play! We loaded up the boy and headed out to buy some bedding for the aforementioned new bed (we're switching from a queen to a king) and got Greek take-out (our regular) on the way home. Yummmmm.
Saturday night ritual - folding the bulletins for Sunday church.
New bed - not a great picture because of the overhead light, but you see the stepstool on the bottom? B put that there so "she" could get into it easier. Ha. It's really high. : )
And with that, thus ends my week in the life photos. I started on the actual album pages last night so we'll see when I can get that together to share. I'm excited about it ... finding the time to devote to it is the tricky part! : )
Week in the Life is a scrapbooking project spearheaded by Ali Edwards. For more information, visit her website.
I can see how you could get tired of taking so many pictures but they are really fun to look at!
ReplyDeleteI now want Greek take-out. Love your new mattress. I'm eager to show The Lion King to my own kids. And congrats on the new bed!
