The Birth of a Playground

The playground arrives!!! Noelle is very excited to see her Daddy and that her Sunday School teacher Mr. Chad is driving the truck. We loooooooove Mr. Chad.

Ta-da! Missing only a ladder and the slide … but as you can see we are finally getting rain so we can’t play on it today. : (

And no post of this magnitude would be complete without the inevitable shedding of first blood.

And now that we have this way cool playground it POURED last night ... so we are snuggled inside today, having a rainy movie morning, drinking an extra cup of coffee, and looking forward to lunch out in a few hours with Grandma and Aunt Kathy.

  1. WOW!!! That is a WAY Coool playset!!! Did a friend build it for you?! I wish I had a playset like that to play on! = ) Only I'd want a ladder I could pull up and hide from the world. = )

  4. Heh. I couldn't help it. It rounded out the pictures perfectly. And she really wasn't that upset ... some of it was that it was also quite a bit past bedtime because of the New! Playground! Excitement! :)

  6. A friend of ours gave the kids a playset in 1998. We built it from a kit. It's 9 now and still be used...even by the teens to swing. Great thing to have! Yours is very cool!

  7. poor girl! when Hannah got her first split lip, I conveniently gave her a popsicle as a distraction. :-)
