What We've Been Reading in January 2012



Benjamin Franklin by Ingri and Edgar d'Auliere. (Mentioned this one yesterday).

Mr. Popper's Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater. This was actually from N1's winter reading list, but I read a couple of the first chapters aloud to her to give her a jump start. (She finished it yesterday).

  1. Love your pictorial RAT! Did N1 love Mr. Popper's Penguins? It is funny! It used to be in constant rotation on audio around here.

    1. She begrudgingly admitted that it was pretty good. : ) She’s moved on to Hugo Cabret and I’ve been watching her enjoy that one which I knew she would because of the amazing pictures. I’ll have to remember to look for the MPP on audio (or reserve it). We could use some fresh audio around here. : )

  2. I think it's time I read Mr. Popper's Penguins with my kids. I have a nice hardcover sitting on the shelf waiting to be read!
